- Technical instructions
Bleeding
When a document is ready for printing, its must have 2mm. margins on every size with respect the real measurement. For example, to print a 54 x 85 mm card, the file must be 56 x 87 mm.
Resolution
To get the best quality printing, the files must have a resolution of at least 300 ppi (pixels per inch). Printing documents with lower resolution might give you pixelated texts and images.
Colour
Documents for printing must be in CMYK (cyan, magenta, yellow, black) colour format. Likewise, black-and-white documents must be in grey-scale. Keep in mind that, to print documents in RGB (red, green, blue) format, you must first convert them to CMYK, and this might cause notable differences in the with colours between the view on the screen and the prints.
Sketches
If the file you want to print is a vector file (created using programs such as Illustrator, Freehand, etc.) you must draw or trace the text to avoid having the font changed during the printing process.
